Pound Sign
I debugged my insert statement, and checked there pound sign showing, i think its getting inserted correctly as it is showing the sign in debugger mode,but not displaying in database correctly. How to solve it. Please can you tell me.
Your computer is likely setup for multiple keyboard layouts and a hotkey has been inadvertently pressed to switch between layouts.Open the Control Panel and go to the Region and Language applet. From the Keyboards and Languages tab click Change keyboards. If you only want the US keyboard layout, select thenDelete all others listed in the General tabIf you have the need for multiple keyboard layouts, ensure that US is set at the top of the list and move to the Advanced Key Settings tab.
Modify or delete the hotkeys for switching between keyboard layouts byselecting an option and clicking Change Key Sequence.If you have decided to retain multiple keyboard layouts, make sure that the Language Bar is readily available from the Language Bar tab. Docked in Taskbar is a good setting here. If this is set, the keyboard iconwill be present to the left of the Notification Area (e.g. Shock troopers mame rom. System Tray) when the Language Bar is Docked in taskbar. This allows you to quickly switch between keyboard layouts. I have this same problem but unfortunately I have upgraded to Windows 10 from my trusty Windows 7, and I can't find any information about how to solve thisproblem in Windows 10.
Anyone have any ideas?I am a British user, but UK and US keyboard layouts seem to be identical: certainly I now get the @ symbol using Shift-2, rather than the ' symbol that my physical keyboard shows. I have no idea why the keyboard has suddenly stuffed up, but it's very irritatingthat the physical keyboard and the actual symbols entered now fail to match. Rise of kingdoms apk.
In particular, where's my UK sterling pound sign gone? OK, I've now solved this problem. Changing my keyboard using Settings Time & Language Region and Language and selecting 'English (United Kingdom)' as my preferred keyboard language failed to work.However, I read elsewhere that you can also change the language by pressing the Windows symbol key and the spacebar together. This gave two options - US and UK languages - and when I toggled to UK, lo and behold my £ sign and the rest reappeared, assignedto their correct keys.Lesson learned: do not let your 13-month old baby have a play on your keyboard for fun, as I did two days ago! She will find key combinations you never knew existed.
I suspect what happened was that she pressed Win-space without me realising, and toggledto the US settings for the keyboard.
